Pro-E MTI designs and builds work holdings in-house from simple to sophisticated hydraulic multi-position jigs, fixtures, and machining tombstones along with innovative custom cutting tools and inspection gages. This in-house capability not only saves time and money, but gives MTI a competitive advantage to keep your projects flowing. MTI also uses Pro-E to help customers with design ideas from a machining view point which can lower cost. |

We are the machining specialists of Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI), the "TOUGH STUFF".
MTI is one of the only production machining companies that machines precision into post heat treated Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI) castings to Grade 4. The austempering process creates a tough, high tensile, wear resistant material that offers cost savings to customers. Today’s engineers are expanding this material to more applications. Most machine sources pre-machine Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI) and handle product several times, this results in higher cost and lower quality. MTI saves time and money by handling product only once, therefore providing superior quality and quicker delivery. MTI works closely with the leaders in the austempering heat treatment process. Assembly
MTI can provide assembly services as well. From the simple to the complex, we cleverly incorporate assembly within machining cycles, including multiple components, sub and full assembly service. We offer management of all phases including component procurement and inventory.

Our quality is based on specific engineered process methods and verified with proven quality plans. Attention is given to extensive in-house education and training programs for all employees. In order to certify their knowledge, they are continually reviewed with our Consistent Demonstrated Ability review system to ensure learned skills remain proficient.

Dependable systems, staffed by seasoned professionals with experience in providing detailed documentation to fulfill your specific requirements. This documentation can be provided in our customer's formats or the standard AIAG formats, for APQP, Flow Charting, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and SPC reporting.
MTI has a climate controlled Quality Department that is home to a Brown & Sharpe 12-20-10 DCC CMM with PC-DMIS software (measuring capacity of 47.2" x 78.7" x 39.4"), a Brown & Sharpe 4-5-4 MicroVal Manual CMM with MicoMeasure III Software, a Mitutoyo Optical Comparator, along with various other measuring instruments to ensure product is to specification.
